The chateau is absolutely beautiful, typically French and very tastefully decorated. It is also very comfortable and had everything our family needed. We enjoyed the pool and relaxed in the sun on the poolside seating. For cooler seating we used the veranda of the sheltered Summer house and a perfect eating and barbecue area next to the Atelier, which had a fridge for cold drinks. The Atelier also had every game imaginable and a TV area with a variety of DVDs and comfy seating. There is an electronic game/TV room in the chateau too, with seating for the whole family to have a 'cinema' evening.
Outside, we enjoyed walking by the river, tennis, boules and table tennis and the children made full use of the slide and swing. The garden is beautifully maintained. We enjoyed cooking in the very well equipped kitchen and had leisurely meals together around large family tables, in beautiful surroundings. The guardians were friendly, very helpful and on-hand if we needed anything. All in all, we had a wonderful experience which we would love to repeat in the future and we thoroughly recommend Les Arcis for a family holiday.
